DOGMANIC

Not to be confused with Dogma and hopefully never Dogmatic this blog chronicles things I've learned to be true in 40+ years on this planet from learning theory as it applies to animal behavior change (including humans) from a person who has had dogs for 30 years who is also a "new rider" of horses.

About Me

My photo
CeceS
Yes I actually have some academic qualifications. 1989 Magna Cum Laude Wake Forest University , BA in Psychology with Honors 1998 Ph.D. In Psychology (Major in Clinical Psychology, Minor in Psychobiology) University of New Mexico. Clinical Psychology Internship At the University of Alabama at Birmingham Pain Consortium and 2 Year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Drug Addiction Treatment Research at UAB. Along with Mr S I have 7 dogs (hey we're down from 9). Two are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels imported from England and 3 are very naughty Parson Russell Terriers and the last 2 are Australian Cattledogs. To say its a struggle having this many and these types of dogs is putting it mildly. But I have dogs instead of children because as some annonymous Twitterer out there put it, "I would rather ruin my carpet than my life."
